WHO WE ARE

FRIENDS OF CAESAR CREEK is a non-profit independent organization dedicated to preserving our natural resources through educational and historical programs and activities.  Our programs are designed for individuals and their families with specific relationship to the Caesar Creek Region.

WHAT WE DO

PRESERVATION THROUGH EDUCATION

  • Educational programs including the National Audubon Society bird count, bird watching, butterfly count and many others

  • Creation and printing of comprehensive topographical map for Caesar Creek Lake Park

  • Fostering efforts to promote interests in the paleontology and geology of our region

  • Avian Conservation which includes nest box monitoring, bird identification walks, raptor programs and demonstrations

  • Education the youth through our Jr Rangers Booklet which is  a learning tool for ages 6 to 12

OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Interpretive Topographical Trail Map:

Creation and printing of comprehensive topographical map for Caesar Creek Lake Park.

Park Support:
Acquired funding for and helped finance a new playground at the Visitor Center.

​

Fund Raising:
Includes events, combined federal campaign and book cart.
